No, I don't think that is what he is talking about. Those numbers are the percent of fuel added or subtracted.

For starters be sure to save a copy of the original map. Looking at your numbers, remember they represent the % of fuel that is added or subtracted from what the ECM is sending to the injectors. A number of say 20 means the PCIII is adjusting the ECM fuel to 20% more. A number of -5 is taking 5% of the EMC setting away. Running leaner makes better mpg but also makes heat. Your adjusting should find the number that makes the best running motor while keeping it from getting hot. When I started adjusting mine I stayed in the 2000 to 4000 rpm range and the 5-10% throttle range. For a start I cut numbers in half. This made a big difference in the power and response. Your findings may vary but this should give you an idea on how I adjusted mine. I would love to have it Dyno`d to see how much difference they would change it but since I love the way it runs now and have good mpg I just can not justify the cost.
