Yep used to loan tools all the time. same problem never made it back home.
Still loan them. But now I make them hand over cash or a check for amount to replace tool.
They bring it back working and in good shape, give them the money or check back.
They always make it back home now, and no more "well I put it down someplace can't remember where. or "my" buddy needed to borrow it, didn't think you'd mind".

Well thanks again to uou guys I spent more money today while Im waiting for the warmer weather to ride the new 08 FLHTC anyways I got the Sears Torque Wrenches on sale now a stupid question as Im not a Professional Machanic! and I want to install items on the bike and in the HD instructions it says to "torque" to xxlbs! So not that Im totally dumb but how the hell do you use the torque wrenches the instructions are very vague, I mean I know you set the wanted lbs you need but how do you , I meamn I really need detailed directions picture etc help me out guys I know lots of you are pros trust me Ill never take the motor apart but??
