Anyone out there using the "Hooker Header" Tuned Flow Exhausts on a bagger. I spoke to a Harley tech last week who told me that these pipes are giving them the best results on the dyno... I also need to here them too!
I HAVE USED THE HOOKERS ON AN ULTRA CLASSIC WITH GOOD RESULTS. THEY MAKE GOOD POWER AND TORQUE. ONE OF THE BEST SYSTEMS ON THE MARKET FOR A BAGGER. IT IS VERY LOUD WITH A DISTINCT SOUND. IF THYIS DOES NOT BOTHER YOU IT IS VERY GOOD. THEY WILL GET LOUDRD AS THE PIPES AGE.
I hear what your saying aboutr the best pipes for a bagger. I was told that the S&S slip on's where the "best bang for the buck" for a bagger.
But from what I've been reading on this board since I joined, on a twin cam motor, a 2 into 1 is the way to make power.
And yes I know a 2 into 1 doesn't balance out on a bagger in the looks department.
Thanks! That's the kind of info that I am looking for. I want to be able to hear the radio while riding... I was concerned that these pipes would be too loud for the stereo system to be heard. I want good "harley sound" on acceleration and a decrease sound while at highway cruising speeds!

Hookers are LOUD. I went with S.E.Performance Touring slip ons and they sound great, nice rumble with-out being obnoxious. Also as far as power they made 96 horse on the dyno. I feel they are also fairly priced and a decent quality. I am going to replace mine only to add more power that the 2 into 1's will give, but I am not looking forward to the look of 2 into 1.[:'(]
