Default SERT Questions
My cousin is selling his 07 Fatboy, he has sert installed and willing to give it to me. question is, is the sert only good on his bike or can it be installed on a different bike? question 2 what comes in the box I got the cd and the little module that plugs into the computer, is their anything on the bike I should be grabbing or is that all I need? I posted this in tuner section also, but nobody seems to be hangin out there ever.

Sorry, SERT marries itself to first bike it's installed on. It won't work twice.

If he give you his ECM and it is compatible with your scoot, then you can use the SERT and ECM. But, as stated above it won't work on another bike unless you grab the ECM too.

He should pass it on to the next owner of that bike as it will only work with the first bike it's installed on.

Just purchased a SERT ECM combination for the Cop Glide.

Came as a "package" due to the SERT being "Married" to the ECM.

besides what you have, you will also need to get the two cables that go from the laptop to the module (dongle) and from the dongle to the bike.
