Default Floorboard extension brackets

I notice that on Soos's floorboard extension bracket, there are only two mounting holes and on the Harley Goodies bracket, there are six holes. Could anyone that has mounted either kit, explain if the other four holes on the HD Goodies bracket will ever be used? Why have six when you will only need two. I'm confused. Could either sponsor explain? Thanks in advance.

I have the Harley Goodies floorboard extensions installed; the 6 holes match-up with the 6 holes on the stock bracket. They allow you the option to change the angle of the floorboard; Played with changing the angle; left it in the original setting.

Hey Rodent,

I did experiment with a multi hole bracket and in my opinion found that it was unnecessary to have more than 2 holes for adjustment. As tjmac49 pointed out, he left it in the original setting which is where the majority of riders leave it.

I went with the 2 hole design and shorter bracket because it matches the length of the mounting surface of the jiffy stand bracket on which it is placed when installing. (Note pic below) It provides the support needed for the footboard. When in place, the bracket is virtually invisible and because I make my kit from aluminum there is strength without additional weight.
