Default Done for at least 3 months.

Had major shoulder surgery on Friday and will be off of the bike for at least 3 months, maybe 4. Even with the colder weather here in Jersey, I don't have a problem riding with the right gear. I can't even drive a car foranother 2 weeks. I'm already feeling like a caged animal. Stored my RKC in buddies garage last Wednesdaybecause I know if itwas stilloutside my condo, I would be tempted to take it out, bad shoulder and all. Here's to a quick 3 months.

good luck with your recovery. 3 months is a short time to wait, than having a messed up shoulder for the rest of your life. I feel your pain to a degree. In wisconsin riding season was done about 2 weeks ago with the first snow and salting and we won't be able to be back on our bikes until mid april after enough rain to wash the roads. I know there are die hards that ride all year but, not here so much. Anyways, good luck.

I got back on my bikeone time too early after back surgery. Got about 10 mi. from the house and almost didn`t make it back. Don`t jump the gun. Take the 3-4 months. Next summer will be here before you know it Best of luck!

Feb 02 last year had shoulder surgery. Sometime in Apr went riding. Some how, parking the bike (on my heritage) it got a little tilted, well needless to say i did not want to set it down. (notice i said set not lay) I decided it would be better for me to hold it up and keep it on the rubber. The surgically repaired shoulder held up just long enough to get it on the jiffy stand. After that I had a buddy ride it home for me. I took his automatic suburban. And I was off the scoot until mid July.

Moral of the story listen to the physical therapist, when he/she says you can ride, then ride.

Good Luck
