What HD dealer in Nashville? Was it the one between Brentwood and Franklin?
ORIGINAL: pab
Well, one of the local Nashville HD shops had a Black Friday 20% off sale that lasted all weekend, and it was rainy and/or cold all 3 days, and I've been reading on this forum all weekend about the virtues of the IDS & the "elbow grease" HD discount, and since I couldn't ride I got bored, so I got in my cage andwent on down to the shop, and I just couldn't help myself,so I bought myself one of them IDS things with the understandiong that I had until 12/31 to have the unit installed with the $100 "elbow grease" promotion being effective until then. So, now I'm home, and after a few beers & dinner I'm wondering , is this thing really all that good? Do I really need it? Is it going to make my life all that much better? Should I keep it, or should I turn it in? Help me!
To Mopar7,
The Nashville dealershipis Boswells. Been in business since 1950. They have3 stores in the Nashville area. One north of the city in Hendersonville, one east in Cookeville, and the 3rd just on the edge of downtown Nashvillewhich is the one I deal with. I've purchased 2 bikes from them, a 05 1200 Custom, and an 07 EG Classic. Great folks. The whole family is involved. They put on a lot of rides, cookouts, regular charity events, etc. Good folks.
Still say you guys need to try some Amsoil 75-110 Severe Gear, gear lube before spending all that money on the rubber drive.
It made an extreme differance in my bike and only cost a few bucks.
