I say buy any year you want then take it apart and make it run like it should none of them ever seem to go fast enough for me but most say im not right any way.

Back in mah hotroddin' days, ah rana 460 w/ram air feedin' 8 aces in a '76 Ranchero. Before that, it wuz a 390 with much the same setup. Between tweakin' the carbs an' the points, it wuz always sumthin' ta do ta keep her runnin' on the money - or even close to it.
