I've just received a Firebagger fiberglass fairing for my RoadKing. Couldn't wait to dry fit and shoot some pictures before getting a stereo and paint.

Hey Hagar...just curious - I have been looking at the Dead Center, Dragonfly, etc. detachable fairings for my RK. Since you have yours now, it looks from most ads that the aftermarket fairings sit up higher and farher in front of the handlebars. How does your fit compared to HD's Ultra, EG fairings?? I am going to check on your Fire fairing too.
I think the windshield height is about the same. Basically ball of the aftermarket fairings are I believe fashioned from older batwing fairings. I looked at alot and actually bought a quadzilla but sold it as I wasn't crazy about the 4 small speakers. I wanted an older styleDragonfly with the 6 1/4 speakers and had troublefinding one ( again didn't like the look of the 6x9's ) Dead Center has way too much space above the radio, ok maybe if your going to load it with guages. Some of the other brands I didn't like for similar reasons.
Firebagger is theAmerican name for Tsukayu Fairings. Made in Hong Kong,(but what isn't) it is a hand laidfiberglass available primered, painted, uncut, stereo ready, or with radio.Similarly to DCC it is lockable and had a choice of windshields. The best part was the price. It included brackets, and shipping.I want to pick out my own stereo and want to use 6 1/4 woofers with 1" seperate tweeters.
Thanks Hagar, it looks real nice on your bike. Can't wait to see it painted. I checked Firebaggers site, not many gallery pics. You wouldn't happen to be in Virginia would ya?? If not could you send me a few more pics of your fairing when you can. Especially a profile view, and head on if you are able. I have not found anyone around me with a detachable fairing, Don't want to lay out the $$ if I am not sure I'll like it.
