Fork oil change on my 06 road glide. 1. Remove drain plug on bottom of fork. 2. Screw in plastic male fitting that came w the vacuum pump. 3. Suck out 4 oz (size of my vacuum pump reservoir). 4. Clamp hose. 5. Dump old fluid and refill reservoir with fresh 15 w oil. 6. Reattach reservoir, release clamp, release vacuum. 7. Once full replace drain plug.
I pumped the brakes a few times then repeated. Not a true drain and fill but it really firmed up the ride and I didn't have to remove the ignition and plastics to get to the top tubes. Super easy upgrade IMO.

Replaced the stock antenna on my 2011 SG with a 14" rubber replacement I got for $8.00 at my local auto parts store. The Ford screw mount (standard mount) fits. The antenna rises 9.5" above the frame. Best $8.00 I've spend on the bike. Love the flexible rubber mount.

Took the water bottle cage off my mountain bike, secured it with a couple of house clamps. Would definitely look better in Chrome. I'm sure many have done this, just thought I would share.

I was thinking it would look better if I could use a different method to secure it; just not sure what that would be.

Love this idea!!!
Guys, those stock antennas are eye getters waiting to mess you up.
Need to wise up before you or yours gets hurt...
Something even shorter would be even better...

You could always drill and tap the bar and then screw it in like on the bike, Or drill through both sides and place a long enough bolt with a nylon lock washer,in stainless. Just put a dab of paint on the drilled hole to prevent rust down the line.
