Is there someplace on HD forum that has some good, clean ways of mounting and wiring an Ipod on an ultra classic?

Normally, a search would pull it right up. It has been discussed many times. Tye this (until the search feature comes back online). Go to google. Type "ipod mount site:hdforums" ... See if that pulls up something. You can even try ipod mount on EG site:hdforums... should pull up something...

My Latest..... the wife has a i/2 face helmet shield, which you attatch with the 3 visor screws,,,, well I was thinkin , on our 2 week trip this summer, those shields would work alot better ,in the all day rain, vs. shades,,, SO......................

Those of you doing the Radio shack Siren alarm install, I have pics of the after installation so all can seewhere the plug is located on an 08 UC. I imagine all the 08 touring bikes are the same, dont know about 07s or earlier though.

This is a pic of the left side, under the left cover and shows the Red and Black wires that hook up the siren. The White arrow points to the plug, you can see thelid of the Fuse Box. To get to it you have to take off the left Saddlebag, then the left cover.

Can you tell me the reason you have to do this install?

In Europe the bikes come standard with immobilizer and alarm system from HD, why would I need to change from the stock system?

I dont know about the European version of the Harley alarm, but in the US the alarm just flashes the lights. That is wonderful if you are where you can see your scoot, but doesnt do much if someone isnt looking to see soomeone messing with your bike. This adds a 120dB Siren to getmore attention.

With the garage door closed my wife can hear it in the house from in the kitchen, probably 30' to 35' from the garage through a solid wall. Plus it costs $7 or so as compared to the Harley Siren which is $80 or so.
