Default Fairing Mirrors

Who's done the fairing mirrors on there ultra? Was it tough(it seems easy enough)? What's the part number to the caps you put in when you take off the handlebar mirrors? THanks in advance.

The installation was not very difficult. Just follow the instructions and use the included diagram to properly place the holes. Be sure to use starter holes each time you drill. I used the following link for fairing removal.......I did not buy the plugs....I hope someone posts that information.

Just be careful when tightening the nuts. They will break pretty easy

Very easy and inexpensive mod. Template for drilling included in kit.

I too want the mirror cap P/N. Can anyone help?

For the cap I just used one of the off the rack allen head buttons. The largest one on the rack is 3/8 I think. Its a little on the small side, I just bent the keepers out a little and it works.

I agree fully with this, don't ask me how I know! By the way, I have an extra, unused right fairing mirror.

For those of you that have installed them, how do you like them? I've heard that "checkin' six" is a litttle limited with the fairing mounted mirrors. Any input?
