Last year in October I bought my wife a 1200L. She doesn't ride it that often so we are looking at a better 2-up bike. I really like the Road Glide. I'll take a hit on the trade in for a Road Glide but at least we would ride the thing.
My dealer made me an ok offer, and yesterday sweetened the deal by throwing in a Stage II kit. Are there any drawbacks to a stage two kit, and what should I expect powerwise?
i just got a new 08 RG after 5 years of riding a road king. i am very happy with the decision. i had a 95 kit in the rk and had the stage 2 put in the rg. it's smoother, with a bit less hp, but about the same tq. the ride and comfort and gas mileage and the six speed and the abs........well, it's just a great all round package. imho.
