Nice Bike! You know I have wondered the same thing about the Vance & Hines Big Radius on a Street Glide. They are really nice pipes but I think you might have clearance problems with the right saddle bag. My wife has those pipes on her Street Bob
That is snow in the background. That was one cold ride, but I couldn't resist. It started as an around the block thing and when I finally got back I got a good chewing out from my wife who had become worried something bad had happened. There is a lot of gravel on the roads from the ice and I think that had her freaked out. I told her she could suit up and come with if she wantedto alleviate her worrying.
On the V&H pipes they are making them for baggers, and I saw an ad in a mag with a SG and Big Radius pipes. Looks pretty sharp. I just don't want to lose my radio for the pipes if they are that loud.
Anyone have any ideas on the fitment of saddlebag bras? I have worked on them for an hour and they fit very poorly. Puckered in places and the white velcro tabs show in the back or the front depending on how I adjust. I thought about building a nice warm fire and letting them warm up some. Maybe they will be more pliable and fit better. And if not I can chunk them in the fireplace and be done with it!
I bought the bag covers as well. I got them out of the box and realized they were held in place by velcro. I was not real impressed and put them on my shelf down stairs. They are still there after a year. They will probably be a good fit if you get them on but I lost interest in them.
Ride safe and weld your wallet shut. These guys will have you spending money left and right.
