do you have power to your cig lighter? if the battery level indicator is displayed on your Zumo, it is still running on its own battery and will not play MP3's. It must be on external power
Casper, not trying to sound silly, but I'm assuming you have your ignition on to send power to your lighter and that you have put your head unit to "Aux" setting? Is your Zumo internal battery charged? If so, try it without hooking to your lighter.
Another possibility is the plug style between Zuno and Aux in port. The generic cable that I bought from Radio Shack (3.5mm Stereo both ends) won't work with my iPod in the same way you describe - it works fine with my Zen V Plus so I've always blamed it on the iPod's headsetjack being whacked somehow.
OK, checked again, just had dealer install CB radio, they must have disconnected the connection to the cig plug or the fuse is blown, I'm not getting power to the zumo mc mount, zumo still shows battery level on top when connected to mc mount. will take outer fairing off and check things out....no power, no tunes....

No big deal, just a little time.....raining anyway....
