Thanks, again, guys. And BTW, I don't take any offense with any negative comments... I guess he is just off my Christmas list. LOL And for those posting their own ink, I love them all. , for one, am a big fan of ink. It is your body, your decision.

Biggzed, you are right in the fact that I could have got the cams that I wanted, but, I had to make a decision. I have the jugs and cylinders that I bought from PhilM. I wanted to get the HQ-0034 cams. But, I compromised. I picked up a set of SE 204 cams for $70 bucks that I will use for the time being. Then, in a year from now, I am sure I will tire of the 95", and want to move up. Now knowing just how much it does cost to do engine work, I am going to have to save for the year, to reallly move up.

PapaTravis, the tattoo is a great design and really looks good. Skratch, the body tattoo on the lady is one of the prettiest I have seen. Did your sister do it? Always admired tattoos, my oldest son has four , but I just can't take the needles. PS - the TROLL who trash mouthed tattoos is an a$$wh0le and should keep his sheet to himself[sm=chairshot.gif]

Whoa fellas.... I was in the middle of a brew ha ha the other day on here. It turned out the moderator had to slap our hand andlock the thread.
No sense in flaming.
PT... nice work!! How long did it take?
Big Jim.... You don't have to like his tat. You can even say you don't like it andit's not for you.... but why insult everybody that has one?
G$..... Is it O.K to ask what you covered up? Or is it one of those... outa sight, outa mind things?
I have always wanted a tat. (I spent 3 yrs in the Navy) I just could never find anything I knew I wanted forever? But I am still looking.
By the way... Big Jim has his taste... but I'll say I have seen some gorgeous women and the tat added to the sexiness.
With or without... they look good to me.

I have 3 hours into it, so far. Looking at another 3-4, to add color. As far as getting a tattoo, just make sure what you get has meaning to you, and you will be fine. I, myself, was in the marines. I had a Taz, with USMC across his chest. Well, I got the Taz from flash, which is the pics you see on the walls of tattoo parlors. Nothing really wrong with flash, but after seeing a half dozen other exact same Taz's, I had mine covered. I had a custom piece done on top of it. This latest one was drawn onto me, so I know that no matter what, no one will have the exact same one. If you are really thinking about it, make sure it is something you can live with, forever, and make sure where you choose to place it is something you can live with. Other than the one I have on my ring finger, this is the first one that people will be able to see. The others are on my back, and I am way to fat to be taking my shirt off.

Here is the one over the Taz. It isn't the greatest, but what I call my own "Man's Ruin."

I'm covered with tattoos. Even on my hands. I get asked the same question all the time. What are you going to do when your old and all your tattoos have faded? I tell them that when i get old i won't care about my tattoos anymore i will be happy to just be alive. As for those that don't like tattoos i say don't get one. They are certainly not for everyone.

no, my sis didn't do that one. just did a quick search on google for something to illustrate my point. btw, tattoo needles are way different that regular needles. i am working on 2 full sleeves, have a back piece, a piece around my ankle, and one on my chest, but i have a hard time with the annual flu shot (in the army)

anyone in the dc/maryland area who is interested in getting one, check out great southern tattoo in alexandria, va and college park md

not a big fan of hands, neck, or faces, but certainly not gonna knock someone else for it. in regards to when your old and the tats have faded, there is a certain 'prestige' to that. shows you've had them for a while and are not just some one who is jumping on the latest bandwagon.

could never understand why anyone would mark their self up with that crap. makes you look like trash, none on me and would never have anything to do with a woman with them
f*ck you and the high horse you rode in on. my sister happens to own 2 shops, has been doing tats for about 25 years and probably makes more money than you. if you don't like it, shut your piehole.... plus you would be surprised at the number of 'mainstream' people who have tats (and/or piercings too)

by the way, some of the sexiest women i have ever seen have tats.... here's an example of something sexy without being trashy:

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I was thinking a green, with a yellow/tan belly, and maybe some red. not really sure. Any suggestions?

damn scratch i could look at that pic you found for hours.... damn nice!
i'm kinda partial to black work myself. plus 20 years down the road, black will have faded less than the other colors and still look good.

btw papatravis, nice work...
