Default My newest tattoo!

I just got this done today. I know that my tattoo is not really something that belongs in the touring section, but I spend most of my time on this forum in here, and wanted you guys to see it. So far it has taken just over three hours, and my tattoo guy says I have at least 3-4 left, to add color. I am really happy with the way it has turned out, so far, and can not wait to see it when it is finished.

I have two daughters. One born in 1996, the year of the Rat (in theChinese calender), and the other was born in 2000, the year of the Dragon. I chose to get the dragon first, as I had my oldest name done before I did the youngest, and didn't want to seem to be picking favorites. After completing this one, I will have to come up with a cool rat design for the other arm.

Hope you guys like it as much as I do... and when it is done, you can be sure I will post it up again, as well.

Really? That is awesome. Kelly gormley is the guy doing mine. I guess he is pretty well known in the business. You can google him, and see some of his work. What's your son's name? Can I google him and see some of his work?

I'll tell ya, it is a real art, and an incredible talent. I always considered myself a decent drawer, but I was wrong. My stuff looks like something a kindergardner would do, next to Kelly's work. While he was doing mine, he had another artist that had only been doing tattoo's for 3 years sit next to him as he gave him some instruction on how to shade. I alwaysknew that there was a lot to a good tattoo, but listeming to Kelly give the other guy some pointers, I was blown away by the amount of information he has. Reakky cool artform, IMO.

Awesome Tat PapaT, I love to get new work done. I had the one below done in Cab San Lucas Last Christmas. The guys @ Hart and Huntington did it right after they opened the new store there. I really like your choice of chinese stuff and I think all Tattoos should have a meaning behind em too....

Nice work PapaTravis
Gonna look awesome with color.

But I am partial to dragons and Kids. Dragon was tribute to strength of my father. The kids are always with me when I ride.
