Default Clearview for a Road Glide

Does anyone have experience with the Clearview windshields for the 2007 or 2008 Road Glide? I would like to purchase a Clearview for my 2008 but am not sure of the correct height. I want to be able to look over the top of the windshield and not get blown off at the same time. Any practical experience from anyone with a Clearview on their Road Glide? How short is too short and how tall is too tall? The stock windshield from Harley comes to my bottom jaw line. Thanks.

I have the 1" shorter than stock and I am 6,1" and see over it fine and the rear is lowered also on my 07 RG, no more wind than others I have tried. I would buy another, go to clearview site, they tell you how to measure it for your body and sight line. Doc Custom Motorcycle Windshields

I run with a Clearview Small - It's 1" lower & 2" wider then the OEM and with there recurve design I have better wind blockage then the OEM shield...

Give them a call and they WILL tell you what one would work better for you.. Toll Free 1-800-798-6089

I'm 6'4" and my '07 RG has been lowered Ft (1 1/4") & Rear (2 1/2") - Currently running a CORBIN Dual Touring Seat which puts me back (2") and down ( 1 3/4")

Wow, I'm 5'10" and I got the 1inch taller glass and I see over the glass too. It comes just about even with my nose, I also added the vent and that just about cleared all the negative pressure buffeting I got with the HD glass

That's the important part. Take your height and inseam measurement before you call.

UPS just dropped off my 8.5" re-curve shield yesterday, and while I still didn't install it yet, I can tell off the bat this is a very high quality piece. Much stronger than either the OEM 4" shield on my SG or the 7" unit I bought from ebay. I did install the 7" one, and it almost totally eliminated the buffeting I was getting at the top of my head.....I figured the extra 1.5" along with the re-curve should make the buffeting a non-issue.
Just call them and the sales person will set you up with exactly what you need for your measurements.
