Harley hawg is a good dude...his site has saved my but a couple times..he's over in the UK so I guess moco can't really screw with him for putting info out they'd rather not be common knowledge...like the oct 2005 tech bulletinn about the advance audio...if they fix a busted module you get a refurb on teh warranty deal....<G>
On the other hand, I'm a little concerned that more of the improvements made to the Dynas (besides the new tranny) weren't carried over to the touring models. Example: low friction clutch cable, integral oil filter adapter, hydraulic cam chain tensioner, new cam chains, new oil pump system, etc. While these items may not seem very "sexy", they go a long way in reducing maintenance. I knew before I ordered my '06 RG that there were relatively few changes as compared to the '06 Dynas but I didn't realize there was such a delta between the two lines.

My bet is they are saving those to offset the snit fit everyone will be in in '07 because of the EPA'a ramped up BS (@#$% morons.) I honestly would not
want the new cam arrangement..they are already replacing all teh Dynas tensioners at 15000..natch..bad design..recall on the tranny..admittedly minor, but
still a PIA...add tha to the problems seen on the FLHX and the few on the regular touring models...nahhh..smart move on harleys part.
methinks in not too many years you will see a Revolution in the touring chassis...
