Hey all just wondering what upgrades/projects were being done to your rides during winter down time.(That is if you live in an area where you get winter) I myself am having the following installed on my 07 Ultra- Michelin Commanders(replacing the Dunlops),IDS,Accu-Trak Stabilizer,Inner Fairing Dress up kit and the Visor Trim Ring kit.

Getting ready to put on 14" apes with new cables and chrome handlebar controls. That should get me through till Christmas , Then maybe put smoked lens tail/brake light onfor January. Shift linkage in February. Thats going to take a lot of beer to make one days work last till it thaws out inMarch.
I'm gonna install a Bushtec trailer hitch, wiring harness and isolator relay so I can pull my trailer on a couple trips I have planned next year. Am also planning on some chrome installation....new shift linkage, shifters, brake peddle arm and floorboards. Will likely add the adjustable passenger flooboard brackets for my wife. Would like to do something to get more lights on the back, but haven't decided what to go with yet.
I'm about 90% sure it is going down for paint and stretched bags. Painting the bike to get rid of the upside-down "NIKE" Swoosh H-D cleared over. Staying with the black pearl base, adding a Shelby Cobra style stripe down the center of the front fender, fairing, inner fairing, tank and tour pack. Then having the stripe split into 2 near the riders seat and going down onto the side pods and the side of the bags. This stripe will be in either a bright metallic yellow with a slim outline stripe of royal blue to set it off(my first choice ) or the stripe will be in a carbon fiber look outlined with a larger 1 inch stripe of metallic yellow. Add rear speakers, CB radio, ceramic coat the pipes black and maybe the Dakota Digital gauges. OH YEAH, and I'm sending my Sundowner seat to BadX to get the seat redone for extra comfort. These are just a few things
I am having the 14inch wild 1 chubby bars put on along with chrome housings and master cylinder and braided cables...just installed the slip ons and the bullet front and rear turn signals ....it always makes it a little easier to get through the winter by spending money on parts for the bike
