Have fun. Not only is it cold here, but there's now salt all over the roads from the recent snow and ice. We need a nice rain to get rid of it so I can get back out riding.
we are back from our dragon run, didnt do the cherohala pkway because of the chance of ice on the road.we did ride the gap from gatlinburg to cherokee and it was a challenge.i slipped enough once that i had to put my foot down to keep it up.all in all though,it was a good trip.nice scenic ride most anywhere we went. we rode a total of almost 700 miles.
Sounds like a good trip, I am planning on doing the dragon and Blue ridge next May. but We got Ice and snow around here now, so the closest I can get to riding is to go out to the garage look at the bike and cry[:@]
yep snow and ice here too.
will take about a week before roads are clear enough to ride safely.
But we are to expect more on Monday / Tuesday.
As soon as I can get to the highway I will be riding.
Petemac, Don't you have indoor plumbing at your house?
why wait for mother nature to wash the salt off the road?
Go ride and when youget home wash it off the bike.
