My Dealer just called to tell me that at 18,000 miles My gike has a leak on the inner primary--covered under warranty.
Anybody had similar problems ?
I'm having everything taken caor of in anticipation of a cross country ride in May.
Also cam chain adjusters MINIUM wear. replacing anyway.
Mine looked like inner primary, but was the shift shaft seal. dealer let me purchase the chrome inner while it was apart and installed it for free while it was apart. minimal wear means you have a nice smooth cam chain.
not uncommon.
usually the inner primary seal.
10$ part and 200$ labor if you had to pay for it.
or better yet about 1/2 day work if you can do it yourself....well never mind warranty work..let them do it.
