Nearly 30,000 miles on my '06 Ultra and my primary started leaking. Is this a common problem? I have the extended warranty so they will fix it for the $50 deductible. I guess I might as well have them put a chrome inner primary on since the labor will be free. When stuff like this happens it makes it cheaper to have accessories added. I think the labor is about $300 for this job and the inner primary is about $300, so I get this one at half price. I had the hydraulic cam chain tensioners and cams installed during a warranty deal also (stock cam chain tensioners went bad). Makes it much more affordable!

To be honest I haven't looked that close since I figure the warranty will take care of it. It looks like it is coming from a seal on the inner. It is only a drop or two when it sits overnight. It drips from a spot directly below the derby cover.
WOW, it would be my luck that it would be the drain plug below the derby cover and I would just drop the bike off and the dealer would try and charge me storage fees then, LOL . Post pics of the new chrome when its done.
