75-80

 

75-80 is a good speed. Try not to go over that but i forget some time.

 

I like to find that sweet spot between groups of cars/trucks. If that means 65, ok. If that means 80+, ok too. You've been there, just hanging between groups of cars zig-zagging between each other, it's a nice safe place to be.

I find myself at 75 on most highways. When the speedlimit is 70, I'll go 80.. but I try to stay the speed limit +10. here in Atlanta, the majority of the interstates (outside of 285) is 65 so I tend to stay around 75... Not interested in tickets ya know!?

 

70-something is fast enough for me.

When I'm on two wheels I'm in no hurry to get anywhere. I'm out for a liesurely ride to enjoy myself and the longer it lasts the better.

If I need to get somewhere fast...I'll take a jet.

 

FLHXI HERE AND 80-85 IS PERFECT!!

 

With the new 6 speed, 80 and above is great when you can stay with it without no smokey's around. If I can git behind somebody running 90 I will jump at the opportunity if the wind isn't heavy.

 

It really depends on how long a trip we have to take and where we will be. In congested cities, you just can't run 85+, but out in the desert, I'm sure 90+ feels like virtually nothing.

0-200 miles/day = 75-80
200-400 miles/day = 80-85
400+miles/day = 85+

I like to cruise about 75,Cruising down I-85 today headed to Greenville SC,Big Rig came around me wide open went about 200 ft.and pulled over in front of me.Soon as he did his rear tire sepeated and started flying apart.I was dodgeing Aligaters and smaller chunks of rubber flying everywhere.Almost gave a Heart attack.But thank GOD I made it through.
