Default adjustable pushrod ?

To save money, has anyone bought a set of used adjustable pushrods? Are these things like lifters where they are only good for so many miles? I know it sounds like $100 is only $100, but if I could get a smoking deal on some adjustables to save some cash and use it elsewhere later on....

Nothing wrong with using "used".One thing to beware of is if you are looking at SE adjustables, from my experience, the threads on them tend to gall up a bit after installing and taking them out a time or two, making them sometimes tough to adjust.
