I'm 50. Bought my Electra Glide at the tender age of 48. I wanted a bike that I could ride two-up anywhere and carry whatever I (we) need. After two years and 13,000 miles (which is NOTHING compared to alot of guys around here) there is no other bike on the planet I would want more than this one. At this stage of the game, why in hell would I want a bar hopper?

I am 59 and bought my first bagger ever. The Hardtail is kind of loosing the appeal & I just do not ride my 05 Dyna low-rider as it is a little too slow. For most days the FXR does it for me 113 TP & less than 500 lbs. for a long trip it is not the best. I guess I will build the bagger with a King-Of-The-Road (shovel) batwing and Ultra lowers and everything quick disconnect. Had all this stuff on my 85 Softail in 85. Made riding through the Monsoon season much nicer. Just can not admit that I need this stuff on all of the time. I guess it is denial!
