I feel my stock rotor and Jaybrake 6 piston stops as good as stock. Which doesn't mean it stops on a dime by any means. I'm sure a 13" rotor would stop better than what I have. I just got an HD "floating" rotor that I haven't put on yet. I'll be curious if it improves braking at all.
What my set-up does do is:
1) shows the wheel more
2) makes cleaning a helluva lot easier
Almost ready to pull the trigger on some 21/18 wheels for the Street Glide but I am undecided on single or dual brake setup. Any comments on the single vs the dual to help me decide?
There is absolutely no benefit whatsoever to a single disc brake over a dual disc. I'm not sure why you would even consider it.
