Default Another Tmax installed

Installed my Tmax this weekend, took 1/2 day off as the weather was into the high70's today, did the start up procedure when I got home and spent the rest of the day doing my 30 minute rides. GREAT.
I never expected it to work this good, started right up, better throttle response, smoother idling and more torque at 2000 to 2500 RPM. Just a better ride all the way around, best money I've spent and I have not even started to playing around with it, just letting it do it's thing right now while I get better acquainted with the manual and the settings.
Love being able to watch to gauges changing while it's running, so much detail and so much to learn, that is why I'm taking it slow with making any adjustments to the tuning it's doing.
I had to weld in the bungs in my headers, so while I was at it I turned them into true duels by cutting off the cross-over section and welding a new piece in in the rear header and installing a new pipe section in the front header. On the read header I took a curved section of pipe and cut the curved side off, cut out a section in the header to match that section and welded it in so as to give it some curving to the pipe and not a flat section for the exhaust to hit against.
What ever I might lose in torque going to true duels was made up by the tmax and in the sound, my stock exhaust with the baffles knocked out sound great. My wife though I had installed the Peacemakers mufflers already, I told her nope they have not come in yet, she said it sounded great to my surprise as she hates loud pipes.
Since the weather is suppose to be back in the high 70's on Tuesday, I told her I was taking the day off to ride, so she went and called in also. Know what we are doing tomorrow.

If you got the TM with A/T you need to ride it over 500 miles and vary yer speeds. Run it easy and run it hard. It has like 1954 squares to tune. If you ride one style only it will only tune at that style of riding.
Its a great unit.

Yep, It is a great unit. Don't worry it is getting put to the test at all speeds. The manual says a couple of runs so that the operating temperature reaches 245-285 degrees is all that is needed, but not me. I rode about 30 to 45 minutes in each ride, stopped turned it off, got a drink and started back up again from about 12:30 PM till almost 6:30 PM, I set the miles but did not look at them when I got off.
The better half and I are taking the day off and leaving about 10:00 AM for a day of fun, I'm sure by the time we get in it will have had plenty of time to do all the adjusting it will need, I'll put her through the paces too.
I appreciate any and all advice anyone can give me, I know I'll love this thing, just watching it keep up with all the stuff was amazing to me. I know it will take sometime just to understand just how good this unit is, I do not pretend to have any idea at what it is capable of. I plan to allow it to do all the adjusting for the time being, while I read the 158 page manual several times over and ask a whole lot of questions.
thanks, like I say I appreciate any and all help.

What are these things going for now anyway? I have a **** poor SERT tune on mine...I might try downloading some of the ones offered up by forum members for download, but if they don't make it significantly better, I may choose to put the money I'd dump into a dyno tune into a T-max and be done with it for good.

Like I said above, you can pick them up on Ebay for around $600.00, just check out the unit number and the seller. Besure you are buying what you want. AmericanClassic Motors or Eastern Peformance are good places, I've seen some others but don't know anything about them. You can't go wrong witha Tmax.
