Being up North blows! Its been warmer here lately with highs in the teens, but last week the high was 5 degrees F. Up here we get two seasons: fall and winter.

 

Sorry Voodoo.... but there is no downside to Sunny So. Cal.(Except the cost of living) Mud slides only effect a small number of people. Earthquakes rattle everyone for about 6 seconds every other year.
Cold is 50... at 3:00am
Hot is 95 inland... 80 on the coast

Today... 65... I needed my leather jacket... BRRRRRRRRRRR!

I'll be on the golf course tomorrow at 11:00am.

I like visiting the cold... but couldn't live in it.

I am a fair weather Rider!!

I have a condo in san diego that I cant afford to live in,,,maybe one day..

 

If you live in the North and pack a lot of miles into a shorter riding season then by the time winter rolls around it isn'ttoo bad to pause a while....step back and evaluate your ride and think of ways to optimize.It's alsoa good time to focus more on non motorcycle stuff that's been neglected.By the time Spring arrives I'll be all wound up and ready to enjoy it to the fullest.

 

I guess if there is an upside to Global Warming, its that in Ohio over the last few years my riding season has been extended into January . Dec 10 i was out without a jacket.
