Default Making a Classic Glide

I've had my EG Classic for almost a year. Love the pewter pearl color. Don't like the geezer glide look -- particularly the tour pak, fenders, bumpers, seat, and signals. You might recall a post or two about making it moreof a Street Glide. Well, here's my final plan to complete by spring. I've already begun collecting parts from eBay and from this forum. Parts + labor will be around $2000 minus whatever I can sell my take-off's for.

Grinner's Classic Glide

Replace front and rear fenders with clean ones
FLHX seat
FLHX tank console
FLHX tail light, signals (red lenses), license plate bracket
Front aux lighting bracket kit w/bullet signals (clear w/amber bulbs)
Medium detachable passenger backrest w/FLHX pad
Remove the tour pak temporarily
Remove saddle bag guard rails
Replace saddle bag guards with profile ones
Fairing mounted mirrors
Antenna in the fairing

To get the tour pak back on is expensive. Need a quick detach bracket that works with front mount points for $300 anda $200 tour pak backrest pad in FLHX style (that's optional, but why not match the seat?) I'll wait until I have a long trip to spend this $$.

Any last-minute thoughts before I embark on this crazy journey of spending money for no purpose but asthetics?

I'm going to try not to buy a killer Hawg Wired stereo to install while the fairing is off... MMmmmm...

PS: A vivid black street glide with a chopped tour pak might not have been a bad plan from the start...But what fun would that have been?

Color-matched saddlebag latch plates--~$100.

Street Glide rear fender facia w/LED--~$140.

Good luck with the project; post pics.
