What does that include in the steeler's quote. I had the local HD do mine and it was 4500.00 and I used my 203 cams and stock heads that they modified to get the compression to 10.2 to 1, no porting or valve work. I was trying to save $$$. I still had 95 HP and 115 torque. If I had it to do all over again I would go all the way with HeadQuarters parts ( which I have done since). see my sig.
cirhere: You're pretty light on information for the components of the 113. You can price components for the HQ 113" using this link, but it won't include the stroker (4.375") crank or the labor (figure $800-$1,000):
yea I know I'm light on info but can't find anyone around here that even knows about Head quarter parts but still looking and trying to decide which way to go
have 103 done or go all the way with 113
I got a quote from Chicago Harley it was 8200.00 for 113 believe that one
Cihere what are you trying to accomplish is the mostimportant? Are you racing? If you are looking for an all out rocket then go with the 113" build. Personally I went with the 103" HQ build and am looking forward to getting all together. My old bike was 100/100 but it was all on the top end. I am optimistic what a difference having 100 ft/lbs at 3000 rpms is going to feel like. Some of the dyno numbers and the curves I have been seeing look awesome.
If you are going to go to a 113, you may want to check into going on to 120". Only difference would be going to the 4-5/8" throw crank. The top end kit from HQ is very similar in price. And if you are buying a crank and having Darkhorse do some of the work, it is not going to be all that much more.
Just trying to give you something else to think about.....either way I am sure you are gonna be real happy with the results.

oh no.....
Heck, my 98" build was 100ft/lbs @ 2350 & 111 @ 3k and that was on a 10:1 build. Your 103 should match that and then some.... ***Very Important*** to this goal: A D&D FatCat is YOUR BEST FRIEND when it comes to getting that monster toqrue way up there early on!
