What is a good place to buy leathers on-line? What brand/maker provides a quality product at a reasonable price. Also, is it worthwhile to buy the lined chaps. Thanks.

A lot of people seem to really like Fox Creek Leathers....don't have any personal experience with them myself. I went through 2 pair of unlined chaps before getting my first lined pair....I'll never go back to the unlined. The lined ones are eaiser to put on and much more comfortable as that don't stick to your jeans. Also, if its available look for a pair with pockets. Most chaps make it nearly impossible to get into your front jean pockets. The last pair I got are Harley chaps, but I'm sure you can find good alternatives from other sources.

foxcreekleather.com I know chaps are "the look", but if you want real protection take a look at their overpants. Full leather jeans, with pockets, & easy to get in & out of.

I second foxcreek. Their quality is awesome. I had to exchange a pair because they run small but they paid for the shipping.

You can always buy HD leathers at Zanotti's - just enter the item # in the part # box!

I have bought stuff from both Fox Creek and Schott in the past. I would consider them comparable in quality, but Fox Creek prices and service make them my choice. I have a jacket, chaps and gloves form FC that are all top-notch in both quality and fit.

Just went down and was wearing my jamin leather buffalo chaps. No damage to my legs or the chaps, just (minor) abrasion on the material. They did thier job in protection.
