Since leather serves as our second skin, don't skimp on quality if at all possible. Several of the vendors mentionedin this threadare goodvendors and have various grades of product. I second the suggestion to consider (lined) leather pants versus a pair of chaps. According to what I read, proper fitting leathers should be tight...tight because in the event of an accident, the tight leather surface will tend to "slide" versus a loose leather surface that will tend to "grab" at the surface with the potential to cause you to start tumbling. You will probably, over time, find that you will require the purchase of several pieces of leather riding clothing, so enjoy the journey and ride safe!

Every time another Fox Cree leather thread starts, I feel like I'm part of a cult. [8D]

But they do make a great product. I have two jackets, a vest and two pairs of gloves from them.

jamin leathers.com ..lined are best as they allow you to pull them on a lot easier. but hd makes the best. Apair of FXRG PANTS AND LEATHER JACKET WILL SET YOU BACK NEARLY $1,000.00 BUT WORTH IT. wATERPROOF AND GUARANTEED FOR 5 YEARS.Another great brand is langletz.com

I am with you on the FXRG, that is what I have, they are Harley, not a billboard though... not in leather anyway, my new Nylon says Harley Davidson across front of jacket, my leathers only say FXRG in small black logo thing that blends right in....I think they are fantastic quality, they are worth the cost in my mind... don't want to get hurt, buy the best protection and be careful.

Quality, Reasonable Cost, Fit, Style is subjective.

Me, I bought langlitz.com. To me quality vs service vs price vs fit and increasing value is what I get out of their products.

Also I bought line leather riding pants instead of chaps, I believe they offer much better protection. I just don't see any racers chaps. Maybe not a real fashion statement like chaps but safe, functionaland protected.

Fox Creek! [sm=smiley20.gif]

I have a jacket and a pair of gloves that I love. I have another pair of gloves on the way. Good prices for the high quality of product you get.

I've had great luck with leatherup.com. Good customer service, too if you need to return.
