I'm going to go ahead and do custom wheels on the new 08 SG. It's something I always wanted to do on the 06 but never got around to it. Thing is, I've sunk quite a bit of cash into the bike on the front end, but I'm eager to customize it further anyway. Has anyone done an 18" custom wheel and tire in the front and left the rear tire and wheel stock? I know you can't see much of the rear tire from a visual perspective, but I would eventually swap it out anyway, so the main question is, would the 18" or 21" front and 16" rear handle ok until I move it up, or would it even work out ok long term?
I think it will work but, if you're going to an 18â or 21â, your gonna have to change the tire. I BELIEVE the tread pattern MUST remain the same for proper traction and handling.

With the ABS, is the single side disc advisable and or practicable. Do you have to do some modifying to acheive this?
Thats the Diablo, Thats the wheel I have. Bite the bullet and buy front and rear. Also show the wheel off by single sidded disc. [sm=bling.gif]
