Use a net bungee and either place on the rear seat or on the ultra luggage rack

On long trips I take a second helmet in my duffle bag that has my cooler weather gear, I bungee it to the luggage rack. I take the half helmet for most of the time but if I hit rain or cold the full face helmet is a blessing.

Itake two helments whenI go out west. Full face for rain and the cold weather in the mountains. And a half helment when I have to wear one in a helment state. And I use a cargo net.
