I installed a set of V&H headers with my SE slipons last week and couldn't be happier, but I wouldn't use the V&H exhaust clamps, better off buying a new pair of genuine HD clamps.

I am putting V&H TD headpipes on my 05 Eglide and using the Touring mufflers.

How do you tighten the rear lowerexhaust flange nut? The shield is not the problem. You can't get a 1/4" drive 1/2" socket with swivel square on the nut. No room for a 1/2" open end wrench unless you cut it into. Don't have a crowsfoot but may have to buy one.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Agree with the Vance&Hines. They will accept the HD slip-ons and install is not difficult (remember new gaskets).
Try Dennis kirk, J&P Cycles. There are several sources. Look for specials on the sites
