I'm still needing to know about the 08s with FBW. If I went with Hertage bars, for example, am I still looking at splicing wires? Bottom line....just what is going to be required to replace the bars on a 08.

Hope you don't mind 'wglide69' but in order to omit starting another handlebar thread I will use your question toask another pertaining to the same type thing and maybe someone can answer both together. Anyway, I have beach bars on my '02 Road King and want to go to either RK High Bars or Heritage Bars so will I need to get any longer cables of have the wiring lenghened? Thanks and hope I didn't cause trouble here.
