I almost bought a Road King, a friend of a friend's hit some hard times and was going to sell his six month old bike for $15K... It was a hell of a deal.. I would of had to lower her,do the fender treaments and put a dragonfly batwing on her to get close to what I wanted.. In the end, I felt I'd never be quite happy with it and it'd take to long for me to get around to doing all the work.. So I dropped $22K out the door for the street-glide, they already had the chrome front-end, dakota digital antenna, painted inner fairingand a few other little goodies on her, so I added passing lamps, smoked turn signal covers, smoked lay-down LED tail light and some other stuff before taking her home.. I was very happy and now I can focus on the HQ 103" build, Fat Baggers chopper style front fender and 21/18" wheels...
I have to say that your bike is the reason I wanted an RKC in the first pace. I have looked at your bike many times in the past year for inspiration. Great job.
After having ridden the RKC for a week or so, I have to say I'll likely o with the SG. Thanks for the advice.

The easy answer is to buy one of each...but since thats probably not practical the only suggestion is to buy the one that 'speaks' to you.
One thing I like about the RKC is that its grabs attention and I can always tell which one it is in a line of bikes.
Your best best is still going to be to rent each...probably more than once.
