Looking for the part number for the street glide console/dash
And any extra part numbers to make it bold on ready to a Road Glide, I have the gas door already but may still need the part numbers for the gasket, screw ect..
Crash--Send me a PM (with your email address) and I will email you in pdf the parts list (with pic) of the HD "Touring Console" kit, PN 71288-03 which is the HD accessory that is the same as the long tank console on the SG except for the tank console's stick-on trim. The parts list does not provide a part number for the chrome console itself; for that you would probably need the SG parts book.
The part # for the dash you are looking for is 71288-03A, page 486 parts & accessories catalog. Keep in mind it is an extended dash and won't work with some seats due to the extended nose of the seat. I added this dash kit to my FLHTCI and purchased a SG solo seat from Corbin and ride that way most of the time. When Mama rides I put the stock seat back on and put a piece of cloth under the nose of the stock seat so it doesn't ride up on the dash and scratch it.
Dave: I did not reuse my "boot" (the rubber gasket around the filler neck) as the instructions called for, since it had deformed with the stock tank console, and bought a new one for a couple of bucks for use with the new, long tank console.
I Put this dash on my '05 RG a couple of years ago, I didn't like the gap the stock seat and dash had. I moved the dash over to my '07 RG when I bought it and only replaced the rubber gasket around the fuel filler, which is glued on. I'm currently using a Mustang Sport Touring FLHX seatand itlines up perfectly with the dash. I can take a pictue if you like.
