Default Road Glide??

Anyone have a picture of the top of the attachment for the lower fairings on a Road Glide? I’m not sure what it looks like?

dawg thanks for the picture but is there a u-bolt that hold the top of the fairing to the motor guard or a clamp that is similar to the bottom clamp?

I bought a great set of lower fairings on e-bay. They have the lower clamp but nothing to attach to the bar on the top.

The back side of the lower fairing turn signal brackets (the one that is clamped to the crash bar)is replaced with one that has a taped hole for the top the lower to bolt to

I checked for a pic and didn't have what you need ,but I know what your getting at. you have to replace the back half of the guard mount with the part that came with the kit.

You are on track with what I am thinking. There is only one hole in the top of the lower fairing. So the hardware must look like a clamp or a reciever with only one screw to bolt to the fairing and maybe the same type of u-bolt around the motor guard.

Mike,

You replace the back of the fairing mount with a new piece that has a 1/4-20 hole in it. The 1/4" screw goes through the lower into the bracket...

I've got the glove boxes on mine, so I don't think it would do any good to take some pictures. When I get home, I can take some pictures of the brackets, though...
