Now I just checked Chicago Harely, which I have dealt and bought from before, and their price was $952.74 with shipping!!!! I know what Im gonna do and get it from Chicago Harley. My thing is I dont get it. Maybe Im not suppose to.
If you are in a hurry, check with Chicago Harley before you pay for your order to see if the parts are in stock. Have hadto wait a few times for special ordered items. If they don't have it, they order it and are at the mercy of their supplier. You may have to wait for that tourpak since it is not a basic black item. Painted items take time.

Can They Do That??? YEA they can ask\change anything they want.... Why do you think the Dealers get over MSRP + on there Bike Sales... Kind of a normal thing in California Dealers
Yeah dealers can do whatever with price. I walked into a local dealer and told them of the order I planned to purchase totalling around $1700 MSRP. I also told them, and they were aware, that other dealers offer 20% off on parts. They discounted the order for me with no grumbling and no questions asked. They were just happy to earn the busneiss. I plan on becoming a loyal to that dealer. I will always go back to only one part guy at every dealership. You become loyal to one of your local parts guys they will help you out everytime. Find a dealer who treats you right and stick with them.
Rocket HdD in Madison county does the same thing. I use to get some of my accessories from them and then I figured out they add 10% on them. The crazy part is the owner is going on cruise's that HD gives for high sales go figure that. Im other words they have high sales. I bought a used Buell a few years back from them and when I got home I realized they had charged me $450 fob. Figure that one out
