I would go with the super premium. It has a thermostat built into the oil filter housing for maximum efficiency.

So does the Premium Oil cooler... Uh, has a thermostat that is. The only difference that I see, from the descriptions given, is the mounting position and the Super Premium has shorter hoses.

The Super Premium connects at the oil filler mount, eliminating hoses that run to the tank. The finish is also available in chrome or silver-finish to match your engine color.
Premium Oil Cooler $289.00 -Super Premium oil Cooler with Chrome Mount $424.95 and Super Premium Oil Cooler with silver mount $349.95

The premium oil cooler attaches at the oil filter mount also.

Yes, but it is mouted further away from the oil filter at the bottom of the frame. The Super P is mounted right close to the oil filter on the right-hand down tube. Now does that add up to $130 difference? Well I don' know.

If I had wanted color or chrome it would have been worth going with the super premium cooler. The higher mounting position is probably better. I think mine looks fine on a black street glide.

Saw a guy once had some little fans attatched to his oil cooler to keep the air moving...looked kinda nasty, but it worked well...I wonder if someonemakes something like that?

Does anybody have the fan installed on there bike here? Any pics?

Thanks

I think the fan would be the better way to go over an oil cooler anytime.

There is another Oil Cooler you might want to look at. It is made by Merch www.merchmotorworkz.com . It actually replaces the oil filter and circulates oil around the housing to cool it, works great and looks good too.

Slider,

I took a look at the page you suggested and that is a good looking oil cooler. Unfortunately the dealer list is short (1) and they don't appear to sell to the public directly. Where can I get one and how much do they cost?
