There are tons of Aftermarket Clocks out there - Have the Steering Lock Cover on my Son's RK - Have a Clock that attaches to the Handlebar Perch on my '01 RKC - Buddy has his clock mounted to the windshield Screw... Check out E-Bay you'll find lots of different ones... I think the Steering Lock is still the cleanest...
Called Linda at clocks4bikes today and ordered a clock and a thermometer for my handle bars. Each costs 39.95 and has a 3 year warranty. Got the ones with the black face to match the speedometer on my RK Classic. She's a real nice lady.
Anyone know if 07' speedo will work on 06'? Or any other cool ideas for clock other than steering lock cover.
Superglide 04-
I had the speedo replaced on my '05 Springer Classic with an '07 due to moisture under the glass. It was a plug in replacement for the '05, most likely would be the same for the '06. BTW, the clock in the speedo is great.......
I got my local HD parts man to find me a new old stock clock for an early 70's model Electraglide, ditched the POS air temp guage and installed it in it's place. He had a heck of a time finding one, but a dealer in WV finally came through. Another option is to go to a Kenworth or Freightliner dealer and buy an in dash clock from them. They will be a little pricey, but you won't have to worry about durability.
