Anyone know if 07' speedo will work on 06'? Or any other cool ideas for clock other than steering lock cover.

A few years ago my wife gave me an HD clock that mounts near the hand grip using one of the bolts that holds the switch housings together. Can be mounted either above or below the handlbar. Only downside is that it is not lighted. I noticed my shop still has a couple of them on the rack, so it must still be a current product.

Buy a 2.00 digital watch and velcro it about anywhere, Or just wear it on your wrist like most of us do

Yes it will. It may take a couple of months to come in though, because HD has to set your current mileage in it. I changed my 07 speedo for the HDbrushed Alum., with the tach. It doesn't come with a clock (go figure), so I put on the flip fork stem clock from Marlins, (http://www.marlins-motorcycles.com/) that matches the new speedo. Everyone has a preference, I like the fork clock, because it's out of the wayand not as noticable as the console or handlebar clocks.

I have the little HD analog clock that attaches to the switch housing. I like it, it's small enough that you can't really notice it and easily enough to read while riding.

I used to keep one on my handlebar clamp with the band run between the risers. The velcro let me cinch it down tight. And remember that the cheaper the watch, the longer it will last.

I didn't know they made a lighted one, thats why I was thinking new speedo. Fork lock cover it is.
Thanks everyone for the Ideas.

There is a company that sells clocks and compasses etc. for bikes. Google Formotion Products. I have one from them that attaches to one of the widshield screws and it has kept time accurately for at least 4 years now. The only problem was changing the battery, I had to go to a jeweler for that.
