The first time i stayed at my first wife's parents (I called them the clampetts) house it was a 3 bedroom trailer with 11 people and 1 100lbs pot belly pig. New brother-in-law 14yrs old thought it would be funny to wake everyone with a 8ft live alligator in the kitchen. 1 night was enough. Was riding down the hwy with new father-in-law when he slammed on the brakes grabbed a shot gun from the rear window shot twice. He put the gun back in the truck crossed 4 lane hwy came back with 2 geese. "Supper" was all he said. After finding out change was not in her future marriage lasted 9 months. Second and last wife has no parents and 1 living brother. Married for 11 yrs and Life is much better now.

Mother-in-law lives about a half mile away....one sister-in-law and her husband lives next door to ma-in-law, another sister-in-law and her husband bought a "summer home" 3 blocks away...move up here from AZ in the summer to escape the heat. Love my wife dearly, but didn't know I would be marrying the darn family!!! Luckily I have the Harley and a big garage to hide away in when it gets to be too much.
