This may sound silly but will it hurt what they call my "suspension air pump" to be used on my tires says it'sgood to 60#??

it takes forever to pump up the higher range pressure though.

I say no problem. I use my to adjust my tires when I'm on the road. It has worked well for me.

It will work fine but it may take a while to add any significant amount of air to a tire. The air suspension pump only gives out small fuffs of air per stroke.

So far I have only used it to adjust the shocks...wasn't sure if it would hurt it or not on the tires..I have a compressor at home I was looking for something while traveling if they needed to be topped off...

Here's what you need for the road. It is a 12v compressor like you get a Walmart with the plastic housing taken off.

You can even get fancy and mount it like this Eglide Goodie's overpriced kit:

Take a close look. It is nothing more than the guts from a 10 buck compressor, like I have in my hand, a bit of wire, a hose, a switch, and a fitting. You can make your ownon-board air set upfor less than 50 bucks.

That is a nice small setup but I would have to leave the wife's electric curling iron at home if I took that!!

I got the valve cap from the tires and suspension system mixed up and they woudn't interchange I just assumed it would not work. Will the suspension pump fit the tire valve stem?
