Have the 10-row Jagg on mine (see pic) that mounts in the same location as the H-D model. Offers 40% more cooling for the same money as the H-D unit. It's my understanding Jagg used to manufacture H-D's coolers, and having seen both up close they look very similar. No problems with the install, t-stat, or the cooler itself. Good investment IMO.
I wouldn't think capacity would increase much, as these coolers don't hold much oil. I'm using 3.75 qts. now for changes with the single HD Premium (4 qts. causes barfing out of the breather), so if it increases to 4 qts. due to increased capacity of a second cooler it would make things easier for me. I don't know if a small Jagg cooler would hold 8 oz., however.
Once a low-mount is installed a second vertical-mount should be very simple to install. I need to call Jagg about the implications of increasing flow resistence, as I've been thinking about adding a cooler for some time now.
HD Premium, but sh*tcan the instructions on the install of the HD oil temp gauge in that they recommend putting the sending unit for the gauge in one of the hoses runing to the cooler. PIA install, and the gauge will only read oil temp once the thermostat opens. Put the sending unit in the oil pan where ther is now a plug, using a 3/8"male X 1/8" female bushing.
