First of all, welcome to the forum from Indiana....Enjoy. The SERT is a Screamn Eagle Race Tunner. It is used to adjust your ECM (Fuel Injection) to adjust the Air/Fuel mixture. Do a search on the forum for a more detailed explaination.....

Sure. Most dealers will recommend it when doing performance work. But technically, if you read the description in the P&A catalogue I believe it is stop light or crossflagged which could mean it voids your warranty. I dont think many worry about it. I have had one since my bike was new and almost everyone I know has one.

The dealer will install SERT or PCIII. It won't void your warranty. V&H Fuel pak is similar but much less sophisticated. It has limited adjustment ability where SERT and PC III can tune in fine detail.
They provide better performance as well as help the bike run cooler and more efficient.Adjusted with the help of a professional using a dynometer... they can really dial the bikes fuel mixture in to perfection.
