Hi!
I just bought a Smart Siren II (part #68328-06) to add to my 2008 Ultra. But the instructions that came with it don't take into account MY08 changes, specifically the move of the ECM from the right side. Has anyone installed one ofthese in their '08?Does it still install underneath the ECM chassis? Thanks for your help.
Okay, I figured it out. There's a place to install the siren under the left side cover to the left of the fuse box. The cable to connect it runs under the fuse box, plugged into a dummy connector at the lower left corner of the fuse box. The fit is tight but it will go in. Learn something new every day.
So, is the install an easy install and something you recommend? Or was it convoluted or complex or worse, just down right did not work and needed some McGivering (sp?)?
