Might as well go with a Hypercharger...many more fit/finish/style options. Vacuum-controlled butterflies open and close, helping to keep debris and water out of the filter at normal cruising speeds. I don't think it will work unlessyou have a S&S carb. I don't recommend Hypercharger either. If you do at least go with a different crank case vent kit cause theres is crap.
You can find these cheap on e-bay, that's what I got, but I installed with snow on the ground and haven't had a chance to even start it. Dunno about performance yet...
